Lorraine D. Evans, CPA, MST began her practice in Sacramento in 2007 after many years of working for local and regional accounting firms. Her company focuses primarily on tax planning, consulting and preparation, as well as general accounting services.

She assists in minimizing the tax consequences of doing business and of personal financial transactions through careful tax planning. This is accomplished by extensive dialogue and close communication with clients to ensure they are aware of potential issues and transactions that may affect current or future tax obligations.

Our company primarily services small to medium sized, closely held companies, most of them located in Placer, Sacramento and San Joaquin counties. Real estate occupations are a specialty niche.

Lorraine’s experience with small and medium sized businesses enables her to provide clients with assistance in some of the following circumstances:

  • When accounting assistance is needed to enable effective business decisions, compliance with government reporting requirements or to meet lending requirements

  • Representation before the Internal Revenue Service or Franchise Tax Board for tax audits

Lorraine also provides services in setting up new company structures such as moving from a sole proprietor or partnership to a corporation, and assists with business transition issues such as buying, selling, and valuing businesses, liquidating assets, and structuring these types of transactions.

Individual clients served include high and middle-income individuals, investors in business interests and real estate investors.

Lorraine is a licensed CPA with the state of California (49570E) for over 24 years and has an advanced master’s degree in taxation that she attained in 1993. She has served on national committees, written articles and is a member of  CalCPA.
